Cathy Light

  • Cathy Light’s dynamic energy and passion for helping organizations and individuals reach their highest potential have led her to establish Leadership Balance® and three other growing enterprises: Assessment Leaders, Business Builders and Be Well Perform Well. In recognition of her extraordinary work, Smart Business nominated Cathy Light for the “Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year” award in both 2009 and 2010.

    Before venturing out as an entrepreneur, Cathy worked in the corporate world in a variety of leadership roles, including Vice President and General Manager of Sunrise Technologies, Inc. and Senior Sales and Marketing Executive at Fuji Optical Systems, Ltd. She began her trailblazing career at a start-up company known as Apple Computer.

    Cathy is a globally recognized speaker known for engaging and inspiring her audiences. Her commitment to helping others extends to active leadership within the community. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Business and Economic School at Boise State University and mentors MBA students when time permits.

Mark Tuggle

Executive Vice President & Chief Learning Officer
  • Dr. Mark Tuggle is a highly relational and results oriented executive with 20+ years of leadership experience focused on organizational and personal performance development, with special emphasis on sales, leadership, and educational success. He excels at identifying organizational, systemic challenges and collaboratively devising and implementing measurable, successful solutions. He is an expert facilitator possessing dynamic communication skills, with extensive presentation experience ranging from one-on-one interaction to speaking to groups of 500+.

    Mark places a premium on developing open, honest relationships with his clients and colleagues so that they can work together to overcome tough challenges. Mark enjoys leading teams through difficult challenges and transitions in a way that brings them together and strengthens their unity and performance.

    As a research scientist, Dr. Tuggle focuses his expertise in self-directed learning, assessment development, and organizational dynamics to develop tools and training that result in measurable performance improvement for both individuals and organizations.

Nancy Geenen

Chief Strategy Officer
  • Nancy Geenen is an engaging business leader and coach who speaks and writes frequently on strategic growth, client service, law firm management, and attorney training. Her insights and advice come out of more than two decades of law firm leadership, while practicing as a trial attorney in the United States and as a prosecutor for the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. A best-selling author and frequent writer for legal periodicals, Nancy shares her experience with humor and sensitivity to her audience, ensuring that her messages are both memorable and applicable.

    Nancy advises management teams on growth, communication, and culture change strategies with an emphasis on peak performance. She typically works with the executive management team to develop strategic objectives and tactics that effect transformational change in the organization. She helps stakeholders understand the risks and opportunities of each strategy decision and then works with the team to communicate and implement the strategic plan. Nancy helps her clients understand possible outcomes and prepares the team for amazing growth and productivity.

    Nancy is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar, the State Bar of California, each of the U.S. District Courts in California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She holds a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law, a Master of Arts in Education from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University.

Kevin Stevens

  • Kevin Stevens is an innovative, analytical, and insightful executive who is passionate about leadership, strategy, and organizational alignment. He spent nearly three decades in the military, making a career out of global multinational assignments that sharpened his skills as a mission-oriented problem solver. Kevin’s experiences navigating complex and often volatile situations served as a catalyst for both his communication and strategy prowess. He has been commended by international military leaders for his comfortable engagement style.

    In addition to supporting multinational high-ranking military commanders in wartime environments, Kevin is a master facilitator who mentored future military executives in US national security policy, military history, strategy, planning and war-gaming. Kevin is a distinguished combat veteran who prides himself on being a lifelong trainer and educator. He designed, authored, administered and taught over one hundred lessons and instructional programs to military personnel.

Becky Gates

  • Becky has a unique business background that encompasses more than 20 years in executive recruiting and over nine years in career coaching. In this role, she successfully assisted those searching for new jobs, those looking for the right career to fit their personalities and interests, or those re-entering the workforce. Because of this experience, Becky now serves as our Vice-President of Talent Recruitment and Development.

    Becky boasts a strategic outlook, outstanding analytical skills, and keen attention to detail. She knows how to develop trusted relationships with business leaders. Becky is active in her community and was recognized for these efforts in 2010 when she simultaneously received the Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) Award and the Idaho Women of the Year award from the Idaho Business Review.

Client Services Specialist

Jennifer Chappell

Client Services Specialist
  • Jennifer has spent over two decades in customer services and management, which makes her the perfect liaison between Lideranca Group and its customers. She possesses a genuine enthusiasm for nurturing client relations, so she prides herself on ensuring that communication lines remain open. This open communication builds trust and serves as a catalyst for long-term relationships between Lideranca Group and its customers.

    In addition to client services, Jennifer has extensive experience providing administrative support in scheduling, planning, communication, and organizational strategy.

    She is devoted to her husband and their 2 children. As a family, they enjoy everything outdoors that Idaho offers, especially camping.  Golf and soccer also play a part in their busy lifestyle. Jennifer is active in promoting Autism Awareness and participates in several special needs programs throughout the Treasure Valley.

Marketing Manager

Stephanie Kemp

  • Stephanie is a researcher by nature who is obsessed with understanding human behavior. Stephanie also loves to write and design. She marries these interests to develop powerful and unique marketing campaigns. She has managed both multi-million-dollar retail stores and grassroots businesses to hone skills in delivering the highest quality of customer service. Stephanie works as a marketing strategist and publicist for Lideranca Group, ensuring brand cohesiveness across all platforms and promoting the many advantages of Lideranca Group’s subsidiary companies.

    Stephanie has a degree in English from the University of Colorado Denver, and she spent the initial part of her post-college career as a public high school English teacher. Stephanie claims that she can sell just about anything to anyone after marketing Shakespeare to 16-year-olds for almost a decade. Stephanie holds two master’s degrees, one in curriculum & instruction and the other in Christian leadership.

    She spends her free time exploring the outdoors.

Laray Stoffels

Marketing Associate
  • Laray is an energetic, dynamic and driven marketing and finance professional with a passion for people, marketing, event planning and financial analysis. Laray uses her passion for people and creativity to collaborate on effective and profound marketing plans.

    Laray works as a product brand manager for Leadership Balance, particularly in the legal sector. She enjoys working with and developing long-term relationships with legal professionals. She has vast experience in leadership development and brings her enthusiasm and knowledge to the clients she serves.

    Laray has dual Bachelor’s degrees in both marketing and finance from Boise State University. She has created intensive marketing plans and led several online campaigns for educational Levys, nonprofits and volunteer organizations.

    In her spare time Laray loves outdoor activities such as snowboarding, rock climbing, backpacking and hiking. Laray also loves volunteering and traveling abroad and will travel to Ethiopia in October to volunteer at a nonprofit.

  • Courtney is an innovative, energetic, and motivated individual who has a passion for creating unique brands for each client. Courtney has a dual Bachelor’s degree in History and English Literature from Boise State University. She utilizes her reading and writing skills to perfect publicity pitches, as well as generating relevant, compelling content for each of Lideranca’s brands. Courtney has experience in both digital marketing and publicity, she enjoys strategizing and working with the team to create marketing campaigns to bring awareness to brands. In her free time, you can find Courtney outside exploring the outdoors. She believes she can do anything with a book in one hand and coffee in the other.

  • Linda is a creative, energetic, and responsive human resources professional with thirty years of experience in employee relations, performance management, succession planning, outplacement, recruitment, training, diversity, employee engagement and conflict resolution. Her professional background encompasses diverse industries such as manufacturing, financial services, retail, and wineries and she has worked in U.S. and international operations.

    Linda is adaptable to diverse client groups in cross-cultural situations and is able to engage and consult with all levels of management, including the C-Suite. Linda responds to a client’s needs promptly and can deliver customized results by gaining immediate trust and credibility.

    Linda also offers her professional expertise to non-profit organizations to improve their organizational effectiveness and is active in a national non-profit organization and also participates in a philanthropic giving circle in her community.

  • Talk about a woman with ridiculous stamina! Dr. Frumi Rachel Barr had four children and with each of those births, she never took maternity leave. (All of you female entrepreneurs can relate.) With strength like that, who needs to go to the gym? And now those children are all off the payroll!

    Dr. Frumi is not only extremely business-minded, but we love her compassion and her excitement. That’s what encouraged us to have her join our team. She has long been a CEO Coach, Confidante and Mentor. Frumi has a passion for creating fabulous cultures for leaders and their teams. She did so for her own companies, and loves to do so for clients.

    Dr. Frumi is truly an entrepreneur having started and run five entrepreneurial adventures. She has a wealth of experience having been a CEO who survived being in the trenches herself. Her own “Why” is creating a safe environment for leaders and their teams to talk about what matters most to build profitable and sustainable organizations.

    In the past, Dr. Frumi’s companies grew rapidly – too rapidly! As a result she has embraced the Gazelles system to ensure that companies don’t “grow broke” and instead build healthy sustainable organizations.
    Dr. Barr is the author of A CEO’s Secret Weapon: How to Accelerate Success. The book was ranked top business book of 2012 by ExecRank and has a forward by her colleague Simon Sinek, international author of best-selling Start with Why.
